About

    I began my professional journey in 1997 in the float pool at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. While I have done some clinic, correctional, home health, and more recently telehealth nursing most of my career has been in the acute care, inpatient setting on busy telemetry units. I was fortunate enough to have provided care for a diverse population group in Magnet accredited facilities. While most of my early career was in California, I worked at Queen's Medical Center West Oahu for four years and completed my clinical hours for my Master's at Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Clinics. My heart in nursing is with the underserved, filling the gaps in care and having health equality for all.
